We leave the glacial landscapes and medieval accents of Zagreb and Prague to head to our new destination, mountains, lakes and the Alps await us in Switzerland and France. We start off on Bürgenstock, where the Bürgenstock Hotel & Spa expands over one kilometre overlooking Lake Lucerne. This locale has pleased the highest exigencies and hosted personalities such as Charlie Chaplin, Kofi Annan, Sofia Loren or Audrey Hepburn since 1837. Swiss horlogerie is one of the best kept traditions, and Hublot stands as a perfect example of tradition and innovation, since 1980. ÖVRFLÖD now presents the most recent collection of this emblematic House.
Gastronomy is one of the best approaches to a country’s culture, and for this edition, we bring high cuisine with Mediterranean and Asian influences from Cheval Blanc, emblazoned with 3 Michelin stars, under the direction of Peter Knogl. The best food is always paired with the best wines, and our Winebar section presents one of the most emblematic and historical vineyards in the world: the Domaine Liger-Belair, which, under Louis-Michel Liger-Belair’s direction, has preserved the familial traditions and rich history beginning in 1815. Nowadays, the wines produced here are praised far and wide.
The trip is not yet over, and we now explore the French Mediterranean coast, in Monaco, where luxury and sophistication, elegance, and exclusivity can be found in every corner. The first stop is the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, found on the Place du Casino, which offers Michelin-starred restaurants, the Jewelers Courtyard, Opéra Garnier, Casino de Monte-Carlo and much more, under one roof. To finish exploring everything the city has to offer, we will board Project 2024 by dutch shipyard Feadship, a 72-metre boat where comfort and safety are priorities.
