Clase Azul México, the prestigious Mexican luxury house known for its exquisite spirits and hospitality, takes pride in presenting the third instalment of its annual limited edition series, titled “Our Memories.” This series, which made its debut in 2021, aims to pay homage to the richness of Mexican culture through unique and exclusive products.

The latest addition to this series, Clase Azul Tequila Day of the Dead Limited Edition Aromas, is a tribute to the unforgettable scents that characterise the Day of the Dead in Mexico. This edition, consisting of only 3,500 decanters, captures the warm and herbal fragrance of marigold flowers, an aroma that has played a crucial role in the beliefs and traditions of this celebration.

This special edition will be available starting October 20th at two exclusive locations: Clase Azul Boutique La Terraza and Clase Azul Boutique Los Cabos Airport.

The Day of the Dead in Mexico is an iconic celebration that reflects the diversity and richness of Mexican culture. The streets and homes are filled with unmistakable scents that delight the senses, from copal incense to exquisite offerings and marigold flowers. This enveloping atmosphere creates an aromatic landscape that lingers in the memory of those who experience it.

For this limited edition, Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco has crafted an aromatic aged tequila, matured for 25 months in American whiskey barrels and finished in Armagnac barrels. This unique process imparts notes of peach, pear, prunes, caramelised nuts, toasted wood, and cloves to the tequila, along with flavours of peach, nuts, cloves, and cocoa, culminating in a long and velvety finish of cocoa and cinnamon.

The decanter for this limited edition features the iconic marigold flower and is adorned with a beautiful orange enamel that darkens towards the base. On the reverse side, a dreamlike illustration by the talented Mexican artist Jimena Estíbaliz decorates the decanter, depicting a nearly miraculous harvest of marigold flowers, accompanied by faithful Xoloitzcuintli dogs. Additionally, the decanter is embellished with a handcrafted 24-karat gold ornament made by Mexican artisans from the Milagros de Latón workshop.

To enhance this unique experience, Clase Azul Mexico’s Creative Chef, Iván Arias, has designed a five-course pairing menu available at Clase Azul La Terraza Los Cabos. This menu includes two ounces of the limited edition tequila and will be available starting from October 20th until supplies last.

Clase Azul Tequila Day of the Dead Limited Edition Aromas is available in one-litre decanters with a 40% alcohol by volume (80 proof) content. With this third instalment of the “Our Memories” series, Clase Azul México continues its mission to celebrate and share the elements that make the Day of the Dead such a unique and exciting celebration in Mexico. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this exceptional sensory experience and be a part of the magic of the Day of the Dead through the aromas and flavours of Clase Azul Tequila.
