Every year Chopard reaches a pinnacle of creativity in the art of jewellery with its Red Carpet Collection. For the 76th Cannes Festival, held from May 16th to 27th, Caroline Scheufele designed 76 Haute Joaillerie masterpieces around the central concept of ‘art’. After focusing on cinema for the 2022 collection, the Maison’s Artistic Director has extended the inspiration behind the 2023 Red Carpet Collection to the Seven Arts.

Architecture, sculpture, painting, music, literature, dance, and cinema: all the noble forms of human genius are celebrated through these fascinating creations, reflecting Caroline Scheufele’s boundless curiosity. Her prominent position in the creative world, her prolific travels, and the artists she encounters continue to refine her vision and open vast fields of inspiration that she brilliantly reinvents through these jewels.

Caroline Scheufele’s talent for perceiving and capturing details, as well as her ability to draw inspiration from various sources, including architecture, nature, and conversations, is evident in every piece of the collection. Her inherent curiosity leads her to find inspiration in everything, from literature to dance and music. The result is a variety of extraordinary jewellery, from rings with stunning central sapphires to necklaces with diamond and sapphire feathers, tanzanite necklaces, and butterfly rings that pay homage to the arts in all their forms.

Caroline Scheufele is a devotee of precious stones and always ensures to respect nature by working exclusively with the most exceptional gems. These treasures, discovered worldwide, breathe life into the Red Carpet Collection with their colour, volume, transparency, and unmistakable aura.

Creating an annual Haute Joaillerie collection with the same number of masterpieces as the latest edition of the Festival is an incredible challenge that Chopard masterfully meets every year. Each piece highlights the talent and expertise of the Maison’s craftsmen, who explore innovation from the use of new materials to stone-cutting techniques. This collection symbolizes the essence of classic jewellery craftsmanship, combined with a fresh perspective and a truly avant-garde spirit. Unique models, imbued with exceptional history and spirit, come to life, driven by the affinities chosen by Caroline Scheufele with the world of the Arts.
