As we near the end of 2022, I can still remember when I sat down to write this year’s first editorial. Full of uncertainty, only one thing was assured: we must adapt to change. This is palpable in each of the past ten editions, which took us on a trip through South and Central America, discovering the ideal spots for travellers and connoisseurs. We are now reaching our eleventh edition, and the adventure continues on. Oh, how the time flies!
Our travels now take us to Jamaica, with white sandy beaches and an eternal tropical climate. This island is ideal for those looking for unique experiences, starting off with Half Moon, a hotel with over 60 years of experience that has housed guests such as Jackie Kennedy and the British Royal Family.
We will also visit a second destination where fashion, design and fine dining are constantly bustling. Miami is today’s hotspot, and there we will discover Gekko, a new steakhouse concept created by David Grumman and Bad Bunny that reflects the purest Japanese essence.
Finally, November is a special month for us, as one of Mexico’s most important festivities takes place these days: the Day of the Dead, which celebrates life and death, and was declared part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. MAny designers have taken inspiration in this unique celebration, and this year Chopard presents a precious timepiece inspired by the Mexican atmosphere.
