The Reverso models have a rich history, reaching 190 years in the past, and to date, they remain an icon of the watchmaking world. In 2023, Jaeger-LeCoultre presents the Reverso Tribute Chronograph, a unique take on the complex machinations of the Reverso line.

A sunray-brushed surface serves as backdrop for the baton hour markers, completely hiding the complication that powers the watch, for a discreet feel. Presented in both steel and pink gold, the case is complemented by a blue-grey dial, a tone achieved through the innovative Atomic Layer Deposit process.

The second face reveals the complex mechanism of the chronograph, being completely skeletonised, shows the inner workings of the complication, which is one of a kind. The challenge was to unite the inherent complexity of the chronograph with the elegant, discreet Reverso aesthetic.

This complication is the first-ever rectangular chronograph movement, and the Calibre 860 that powers it has a 52-hour life, in addition to propelling both the front and back hour markers simultaneously. Totalling over 300 components, the rectangular movement fits perfectly within the timeless Reverso case.

A marriage of past and present, the Reverso Tribute Chronograph is a statement of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s commitment to elegance and watchmaking advances.
