Founded in 1724, Rémy Martin commemorates three centuries of history with a global array of celebrations under the theme “We Dream Forward” and the presentation of the exceptional 300th Anniversary Coupe.
From its inception, Rémy Martin has been synonymous with quality and tradition, combining craftsmanship and innovation to create exceptional cognacs that endure over time. The 300th Anniversary Coupe is a radiant tribute to this legacy. Created by Cellar Master Baptiste Loiseau, this special cognac comes from the precious “Réserve Perpétuelle”, a collection of exceptional eaux-de-vie exclusively from the Grande Champagne terroir, known for its aromatic quality and aging potential.
The 300th Anniversary Coupe presents a luminous amber color, promising an unparalleled sensory experience. On the nose, it reveals notes of candied orange, passion fruit, sandalwood, leather, spices, and a floral hint, all harmonized with the freshness of rancio. On the palate, it showcases a masterful balance of candied fruits, fig, exotic fruits, and nuts, with elegant oak notes that prolong the tasting experience.
Inspired by the iconic shape of the 250th Anniversary Coupe, created in 1974, the decanter of the 300th Anniversary Coupe is a masterpiece. The embossed lines adorning its crystal symbolize the forward motion of the Centaur’s javelin, the House emblem since 1870. The carafe is presented in a bespoke wooden case, including a special note from the Cellar Master and a QR code for exclusive digital content.
Rémy Martin’s tricentennial will be celebrated throughout 2024 with a series of events and activations worldwide. The reopening of the historic Rémy Martin house in Cognac, after years of renovations, will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the brand’s soul. In selected airports, the Rémy Martin Dream Forward Expedition will offer an opulent experience, transporting cognac lovers to the vineyards of Grande and Petite Champagne through VR technology and interactive tables.
Beyond cognac-making, Rémy Martin inspires and supports innovation and excellence in various fields. The Rémy Martin Bartender Talent Academy competition will bring together the best international bars to celebrate 300 years of cocktail culture, culminating in a global final in France in September.
