To celebrate 270 years of excellence, Vacheron Constantin unveils the Historiques 222 stainless steel edition, blending bold creativity from the past with contemporary innovation. This timepiece honors a groundbreaking design introduced in 1977, redefining sports watches and leaving a lasting impact on haute horlogerie.
Originally crafted by Jorg Hysek, the 222 was a modern icon with its monobloc case, fluted bezel, integrated bracelet, and 120-meter water resistance. Powered by the ultra-thin Calibre 1120, it was both elegant and technologically advanced.
In 2025, the stainless steel re-edition features a 37 mm case, a striking blue dial, and technical enhancements that uphold the Maison’s commitment to excellence. A triple-blade clasp, sapphire crystal caseback, and the Calibre 2455/2 with a 40-hour power reserve elevate both functionality and aesthetics. Vintage-inspired details, including inscriptions and Super-LumiNova® finishes, pay homage to its legendary predecessor.
The Historiques 222 stainless steel edition is more than a watch; it’s a testament to Vacheron Constantin’s mastery and vision. Perfectly balancing tradition and modernity, it reaffirms the brand’s place at the pinnacle of haute horlogerie.
