In 2004, Bugatti reshaped the automotive landscape with the Veyron, a hypercar with 1,001 HP. This marvel was eclipsed in 2015 by the Chiron, the first car with 1,800 HP, solidifying Bugatti’s legacy of unparalleled performance. Now, two decades after creating the hypercar, Bugatti presents the Tourbillon, a revolutionary machine redefined with an entirely new powertrain and platform.
Guided by 115 years of heritage and the philosophies of Ettore Bugatti, the Tourbillon embodies the essence of Bugatti’s historic past. Mate Rimac, Bugatti’s CEO, highlights inspirations such as the Type 57SC Atlantic, Type 35, and Type 41 Royale: icons of beauty, performance, and luxury. The Tourbillon, named after a marvel of watchmaking, reflects Bugatti’s French heritage and symbolizes timeless engineering.
Breaking with tradition, the Tourbillon abandons the legendary W16 engine and instead features an 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V16 combined with electric motors, producing an astounding 1,800 HP. This hybrid propulsion system ensures unprecedented performance and efficiency. Every design element, from the iconic horseshoe grille to the advanced aerodynamic features, is crafted to perfection.
Inside, the Tourbillon offers a timeless analog experience, with a set of instruments designed by a Swiss watchmaker and a crystal central console. The interior combines luxury with practicality, featuring fixed seats for a low and comfortable driving position and an advanced audio system that uses interior panels as speakers.
The Bugatti Tourbillon, debuting in 2025, promises to be an eternal masterpiece. It is not just a car, but a legacy destined for the concours of this century and the next.
